Wondering if there are any medical benefits of Coolsculpting? Let's a take a look and see what CoolSculpting can do for you.
As cultural trends continue to reflect the progression of society, so do technologies to help bolster our ever-changing needs, this is especially true in the worlds of health and beauty. For better or worse, attention to cosmetic detail and how we perceive ourselves is a focal point of the American lifestyle and its trends. It can be intimidating, but society as a whole has evolved to become little more self-aware, beginning to care more and more about their health and their body goals-their image in general. Whether you're a health nut who swears by spending the extra few dollars to shop at Whole Foods, or a fitness guru who preaches a variety of fitness routines, we all know we need a little extra push in the right direction with our bodies. Unlike the hardcover collection of early 00's dieting fads or the scary plastic surgeries that are still alive and well today, doctors at Self Care LA are here to tell you that they can benefit your body for the better, by removing some of your excess fat with CoolSculpting.
CoolSculpting is a fine example of how ingenuity in health-care can be beneficial while working in tandem with the cosmetic and beauty aspect of our ever "involved" society. CoolSculpting is a non-invasive body-contouring procedure that freezes unwanted and unsightly fat cells, leading the patient to having a body that reflects their inner ideal self. Though the benefits of CoolSculpting are purely cosmetic, only offering to contour your body and remove fat and lacks any of the health benefits of weight loss, it should still be noted that the procedure will a person stop on a dime and turn their lifestyle around. Let's take a look at what CoolSculpting is, the benefits it provides, and how it could possibly change your life in our ever-changing world for the better.
For those of you unfamiliar with what CoolSculpting is, don't be embarrassed, as it is hardly as prominent in the cosmetic world as some other treatments or surgeries. However, CoolSculpting is a hell of a lot safer than treatments like liposuction that put patients under the influence of anesthesia and force them to go under the knife. After years of research, CoolSculpting is based on the findings that prove that cooler temperatures (rather than hotter ones) help crystalize and eliminate excess fat cells in unsightly areas of the body. Once CoolSculpting does its stuff and crystalizes the fat cell, killing it, it is then process through the body naturally, never to return.
How is it done? The procedure itself is quite simple and only takes 35 to 45 minutes of a patient's time. Your doctor will ask you to get comfortable in the CoolSculpting chair and bring some form of entertainment like a book or smartphone. They will then apply a gel pad to the area you want treated. The CoolSculpting applicator is then placed over the gelled area and begins the process of cooling your skin. (Note: while CoolSculpting is about as low-risk of a procedure as humanly possible, it should be noted that for a few minutes temperatures could cause a slight discomfort to those that are sensitive to the cold. Talk to you physician to decide if CoolSculpting is right for you.)
The vacuum draws in the fatty tissue and begins the painless process of freezing your fat away. After the procedure is finished, your doctor will massage the treated area to get a little bit of blood flow back in the area and get rid of some of the numbness. Once that's done, it's all over and you can go about your business!
While CoolSculpting lacks any medical benefits, the cosmetic results on your body are astounding. Your body starts showing the full results of CoolSculpting once your body has flushed out all of the dead fat cells; this process happens naturally, the cells usually leaving the body through the urinary tract. And once those cells are gone, they won't come back. Your body won't regenerate new ones. Here are a few important pieces of knowledge that you need to bolster your perception of this procedure with:
